'One should either be a work of art or wear a work of art' Oscar Wilde
This collection of silk scarves uses images, or extracts of images, taken by Anna Booth on either a large format wooden film camera or a more modern digital camera. Anna takes her inspiration from nature. This can be pure nature or the effect of natural elements on the man made - wind, sun, salt from the sea.
The images featured in this selection of scarves include lichen on rock in the coastal area of Namibia; palm trees on the Keralan coast; rock and beach huts from the English coast; a geyser from Yellowstone National Park; wood from Yosemite National Park; seed heads and huts from Yorkshire.
Each scarves is digitally printed and then hand-rolled edged in the UK.
